Safety and efficacy of SilvoGel has been proved in a clinical trial and was presented in 9th Annual Abu Dhabi Wound Care Conference, 2018.
The randomized, controlled clinical trial was carried out in Razi Hospital, Tehran University of Medical Sciences from June 2016 to February 2018. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of this product on the rate of wound healing, absence of itchiness and irritation, patient satisfaction and possible side effects comparing with the conventional procedure consisting of using Eosin 2%.
